Background

Classic Blinds and Shutters story began in 2004. A family-owned business based in Newcastle, NSW, Australia.

Classic Blinds manufacture, supply and install blinds and shutters to commercial and residential properties in Newcastle and throughout the Hunter Region.

We were engaged by Classic Blinds and Shutters in 2011 to generate brand recognition and creation communication materials to reflect their point of difference.

Approach

We began working with Classic Blinds and Shutters in 2011 to improve their brand visibility within the market. Our first step was to understand the objectives, goals, and vision for the brand. We engaged in several discovery sessions to gain this knowledge base before researching the market to define the brands positioning in the marketplace.

We began to craft a fresh brand for Classic Blinds and Shutters starting with a refresh of their current brand identity. As a part of the brand refresh we created a brand persona with a fresh tone of voice which reflected their brand story. The result is a memorable brand which positions the company as the leader in the industry within the region in which they operate.

Today, Classic Blinds and Shutters’ business has grown considerably. They are the leading manufacturer, supplier, and installer in the industry. Winning the 2015 Excellence in Innovation; finalist in the Hunter Manufacturing Awards; finalist in Branding and Marketing for 2017. We have become the brand custodians for Classic Blinds and Shutters and proud to be part of their successful journey.
